PC CASE <br /> <br />AUTHORIZE INTERNAL RECRUITMENT OF A POLICE FIRST SERGEANT <br /> By: Patrick Leadens, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On November 12th, 2002, staff received authorization to appoint Interim Police Chief James Way to <br />the position of Police Chief thus creating a vacancy for a Police First Sergeant position. Staff requests <br />authorization to begin the process to internally recruit a full-time Police First Sergeant to fill a <br />vacancy.
