Commissioner Johnson stated that they are trying to balance the concerns of current homeowners and avoid a barrier sitting at the end of the stubbed road for years. He recommended mak/ng a T, intersection. Chairperson Nixt stated that they could construct the T-intersectiOn with the understanding that the most logical extension would' be to the east and west. Ms. Kuechle stated that she would be in favor of that. Mr. McGhee requested that the curb to the east be installed ten feet since future development is planned. Chairperson Nixt stated that he did not have a problem with that. Motion by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Chairperson Nixt, to recommend that City Council approve of the preliminary plat for Villas at Meadow Point contingent upon compliance with City StaffKeview Letter dated August 20, 2002 and the changes made to the street design to T the intersection on 154t~ westerly and provide for ten feet of curb to the east. Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Johnson, Brauer, Kociscak, and Reeve. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Watson. Case #8: Section 9.11.02 Accessory Uses Subdivision 5 Chairperson Nixt recommended that they consider allowing for additional height of accessory structures on parcels less than two acres if they meet certain criteria. Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Johnson, to direct staff to bring back Section 9.11.02 Accessory Uses Subdivision 5 for further consideration. Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Johnson, Brauer, Kociscak, and Reeve. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Watson. Case #9: Zoning Bulletin Noted. OTHER COMMISSION BUSINESS None.
