MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT - continued 4) Report on Safety Camp Councilmember Anderson commented on the success of the recently held Safety Camp and reported on the activities that took place. She commended Chandra Kreyer and Jerry Streich for their efforts and stated she hopes this event will occur again. Mayor Gamec stated this is a case of the Police Department, Fire Department, and City Staff working together. He noted that about 400 parents attended the graduation ceremony and he extended his appreciation to all who worked on it. Mayor Gamec stated they are already planning next year's event. 5) Reflection of Council Vote in Meeting Minutes Councilmember Zimmerman stated it was discussed at a Public Works Committee meeting that some did not know which Councilmembers voted for the resolution and who did not. He asked if there was a way to correct this, perhaps by going with a roll call vote. Mayor Gamec stated the meeting minutes do show that detail and are available to be read at City Hall. Assistant City Administrator Nelson stated the meeting minutes are also posted on the City's web site. Councihnember Anderson noted that the meeting minutes portray only part of the picture and in the past on a split vote, several members voted in direct defiance of a cottrt order, which does not show in the meeting minutes since the rest of the story is not included. Councilmember Zimmennan stated that some in the audience said they didn't know how certain members voted and it should be the Council's respectful duty to say how you are voting. Mayor Gamec stated if there are questions about the vote, they can simply call staff to find out the information. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Mayor Gamec, to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
