5.12 Adopt Resolution #10 -10 -240 Authorizing 2 " Partial Payment to North Valley Inc. for <br />Division B of the 2010 Pavement Management Program <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Wise, Look, Dehen, Elvig, <br />Jeffrey, and McGlone. Voting No: None. <br />6. PUBLIC HEARING <br />None. <br />7. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />7.01: Request for a Home Occupation Permit to Operate a Lawn Care and Landscape <br />Service at 14200 Tungsten Street NW; Case of Justin Dahl <br />Associate Planner Gladhill reviewed the staff report. <br />Councilmember Wise expressed concern about screening. <br />Councilmember Dehen believed this was a residential area and he did not feel this type of <br />business should operate in a residential area. <br />Mayor Ramsey agreed this was too small of a lot and would have too much impact on the <br />neighborhood for a Home Occupation Permit. <br />Councilmember Look stated the issue was storage of additional vehicles, trailers, etc. He noted <br />the business could be run out of the home, but the storage may need to be placed elsewhere. <br />Councilmember Elvig agreed that there was not sufficient storage on the property. <br />Motion by Councilmember McGlone, seconded by Councilmember Wise, to table the action and <br />direct staff to prepare negative Findings. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers McGlone, Wise, Dehen, Elvig, <br />Jeffrey, and Look. Voting No: None. <br />7.02: Request for Preliminary Plan Review of Alpha Development, Site Plan Review of <br />Legacy Christian Academy, and Rezoning and Comprehensive Plan Amendment to <br />Public /Quasi Public; Case of Columbo Limited Partnership <br />Planning Manager Miller reviewed the staff report. <br />Motion by Councilmember Look, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to adopt Resolution #10- <br />10 -241 adopting Findings of Fact #0879 to rezone certain property from R -1, R -2, and R-3 <br />Residential to Public /Quasi Public. <br />City Council / October 26, 2010 <br />Page 4 of 9 <br />
