These specifications <br /> should be submitted and are subject to review by the City Engineer. <br />· The guide bar bracket must be constructed using a non-sparking mater/al. <br />· The concrete fillet which creates the sump should be increased to a 12 inch height <br /> with a 1:1 side slope. <br /> <br />Specifications: <br /> <br />· Include the Standard General Conditions of the Construction Contract. Review of the <br /> Supplementary Condition cannot be completed until receipt of those General <br /> Conditions. <br />· In Section 2270-1 of the Specifications, the Erosion Control Implementation Schedule <br /> says removal of silt fence is "by others". Please revise to state "by DevelOper". <br />· Governing specifications shall be the 2000 Edition of MnDOT's Standard <br /> Specification for Construction. <br />· On Page 2500-2, Item 7 should include the installation of infishield wraps, a <br /> minimum thickness of 60 mi, to control infiltratiorffinflow. It shall also add a <br /> provision about marking all MH and valves outside paved surfaces with a green or <br /> blue carconite stake after grade is established. A/so, as should be mentioned on the <br /> detail for standard MHs, there shall be at least 2 inches of adjusting rings, and a <br /> maximum of 10 inches of adjustment rings. <br />· On Page 2612-1, under Section 2611.1A, last paragraph shall read: "When it <br /> becomes necessary for water to be shut down, the City of Ramsey will operate any <br /> and all valves to complete the shutdown.
