-146- Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION # RESOLUTION CHANGING THE TITLE OF AND RECLASSIFYING THE FULL-TIME BUILDING MAINTENANCE WORKER JOB DESRIPTION AND PAY SCALE WHEREAS, staff has revised the job description for the full-time Building Maintenance Worker position occupied to reflect increased accountability for outcomes in the Building Maintenance function and work direction for the part-time Building Maintenance Worker; and WHEREAS, based upon those job points and comparable wages for this new position, staff has determined that the position warrants a higher pay classification. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to reclassify the position and change the title of full-time Building Maintenance Worker to Senior Building Maintenance Worker and a salary of $31,276 minimum/S39,094 maximum, occupied by Dan Bray. 2) That employee who currently occupies the full-time Building Maintenance Worker position, Dan Bray, based upon the recommendation of the Personnel Committee, be placed at Step 3 of the new pay classification for Senior Building Maintenance Worker, retroactive to 01/01/02. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were 'absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 9th day of July, 2002.
