Mayor Gamec asked if the process they went through benefited both residents and the developer. <br /> <br />Lance Ragler, 6194 146th Avenue NE, stated he believed they had made some general progress <br />but there were still some concerns that need to be worked out. He stated they have not seen <br />anything more concrete as far as how this should be developed and the drawing is not <br />satisfactory in the present state. There has been discussion regarding this and in the future he <br />believed they could work something out. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated if the land use change was approved he hoped they would continue to work <br />with the neighbors. <br /> <br />Mr. Ragler stated he was concerned about the PUD request and a medium density request. He <br />stated there was an issue ab0ut,.the fact that Mr. Kurak has not, at this point, developed the <br />northern sectmn of the prCpe~ only the southern part of the property, yet this request <br />encompasses the entire par. eel. He'~ated he was very concerned regardless of what comes out of <br />this and ~f Mr. Kuratc ~s'not going t0:}~evelop this area at this present tn'ne, a new request needs to <br />made to separate the tWo sections61~the~[~perty. <br /> <br />Counmlmember Hendnksen ask~}:~. Ragl~.m the absence of an extension, ~s he not ready to <br />request approval of this. ~)x~ ~j~}~ ~} <br /> <br />Mr. Ragler stated they were not needed see more specific thngs and one issue is <br />multi-unit dwellings that they stated he understood that most will be <br />individual families but there would would hold multi-family. He stated ~e <br />request is for the entire prope~, not just the <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen asked if their <br /> <br />acres· <br /> <br />Mr. Ragler stated this was true and they had not discussed d~'~all <br />had no clue at this point if they have something verbal regarding <br />the northern part of this parcel. <br /> <br /> He stated they <br />were going to do with <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated they had to deal with this tonight and ~ybe it needed to come to a head by <br />coming to the City Council. He stated as a community, they do not want to see something going <br />on for years. He stated there had been some misleading information and also some truthful <br />information. He stated it was time for the Council to make a decision. <br /> <br />Mr. Ragler stated if they were to take action on this tonight, his concern was if it was voted to be <br />medium density, then they could do anything within the limits of medium density zoning without <br />the input of the neighbors. He noted that with the other cases the City Attorney stated a 2/2 tie <br />vote meant that it was denied. He stated he heard some controversy on this issue.
