-52- Councilmember Zimmerman asked where they were in th/s request. City Attorney Goodrich stated they discussed this in March and Mr. Kurak brought forth a letter requesting an additional 60 days. He stated several letters from Mr. Kurak asked the Council to not act on th_is pending work with the neighbors to discuss these land use issues. He stated since March 12, there had been two to three letters extending this in thirty-day increments. To date they did not have a letter extending this another 30 days so in order to comply with the sixty day rule, MS 1599, they need to act on this tonight. Councilmember Zimmerman asked what would happen if they did not act on this tonight. He stated there was not ore, helming consensus that some people suggested that there might be in te~s of general accept~ce of t~s. He stated the dia~am did not match with the request that was made in te~s of what potion they were requesting the land use ch~ge for. He stated it seemed approphate · at if t~s kept ch~ng,-they should not consider t~s to be pa~ of ~e fou~een requests that were ~dfathered in last ye~ ~d actually follow the process that exists in mak~g the land use change. Councilmember Hendfiksen pointed out that he believed ~s was for the entire p~cel, or at least a potion of the p~ce[, not just ~enty odd acres ~at were depicted ~ the drawing so he believed action was approphate.
