The medium density part would need to be rezoned to accommodate <br />medium density. He stated there were certain standards with a maximum of seven percent net <br />density but within that there are certain guidelines of what a property can be. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec asked if they have the right to say how much is high/low density. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated the ultimate density would depend on the site with using the <br />Ordinance as the guideline but the site may require fewer than is permitted by the City Code. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman stated they needed to act on the request Mr. Kurak gave them. Councilmember Anderson stated they do not <br />have anything that is specific and this parcel would give the opportunity to mix densities and <br />prove that it can be done well; however, she cannot approve something without a plan and they <br />were at the 60 days and 60-day rule so it had to be acted on tonight.
