At a work session on June 4, 2002, Council <br />interviewed seven applicants, five for the EDA and two for the Public Safety Board. The <br />recommendation of the interview panel, which also included Christopher Riley, Chair of the <br />EDA, was to appoint Alison Ward to the Public Safety Board for a term of four years and Jim <br />Steffen and Keith Kiefer to the EDA for terms that will expire on December 31, 2004. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to recommend that the City <br />Council appoint Alison Ward to the Public Safety Board for a term of four years and Jim Steffen <br />and Keith Kiefer to Economic Development Authority for terms that will expire on December <br />31, 2004. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Anderson, Hendriksen, <br />and Zimmerman.
