-44- <br /> <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Kapler stated his support for a fee of $250 and suggested <br />staff track the actual costs so a recommendation can be considered next year when the fees are <br />again considered. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to adopt Ordinance <br />#02-21 Amending Chapter 7 of the City Code, adding section 7.86 entitled "Sale of Fire Works" <br />as amended in Subdivision 6 related to the fee schedule. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Kural~ suggested the Public Safety Board be involved to <br />draft verbiage addressing additional fireworks usage in case the Legislature decided to make it <br />more lenient. She requested permission to work with the Public Safety Board to draft that <br />language. Mayor Gamec stated he would not object to that suggestion.
