I I I I I I I I I I I I I 7) Broadcast of City Council Meetings Councilmember Hendriksen stated he observed at home and wants to bring up that sidebar conversations are taking place during the Council meetings when all are wearing microphones so it is sometimes difficult to hear the main conversation. And, side conversations may be picked up that may not wish to be picked up. He stated he is the City's representative on the Quad Cities Cable Commission and his concern is the standpoint of the quality of picture being broadcast and that viewers are able to see and hear it. 4) Contract Zoning - continued Councihnember Kurak stated she was cut off when asking Councilmember Hendriksen for an apology for saying she was bringing a law suit against the City. She stated that is not true and she does not want the meeting to end with that notion in the air. Councihnember Zimmerman stated he heard Councilmember Hendriksen state that he perceived it, not that Councilmember Kurak said it. Councilmember Kurak stated that is a nice word but still leaves a stink in the air. Councilmember Hendriksen stated that he stands'by what he said. Mayor Gamec declared the conversation out of order. 8) Announcement of Upcoming Meetings Mayor Gamec announced the following upcoming events: · League Meeting in Rochester, Minnesota on June 18, 2002 · County Elected Official meeting on July 30, 2002 · City golf outing on August 20, 2002 Happy Days on September 13 and 14 at Lord of Life Mayor Gamec asked Councilmembers to inform staff if they would be attending the golf outing or dinner. Mayor Gamec noted the City Administrator will be out of town for the August 27, 2002, Council meeting so it may have to be resch, eduled. 9) Update on Northstar Corridor Councihnember Hendriksen asked about attempts to resurrect the Northstar Corridor.
