-228- Councilrnember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION # RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO ACCEPT BID AND AWARD CONTRACT FOR REMODELING OF RAMSEY CITY HALL WHEREAS, City Council authorized the preparation of plans and specifications and bid package for the remodel of Ramsey City Hall at their regular meeting of April 9th, 2002; and WHEREAS, the bid package was advertised for the period of May 17th through June 4th, 2002; and WHEREAS, seven (7) sealed bids were received at Ramsey City Hall at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4th, 2002; and WHEREAS, BKV Group and E & V Construction have reviewed the low bid received and have recommended accepting the low bid and awarding the contract to Braun Built Construction in the amount of $96,580.00. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: l) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the City Administrator to accept the bid and award the contract in the amount of $96, 580.00 for the remodeling of City Hall to Braun Built Corporation. P.O. Box 1304, Burnsville, Minnesota, 55337. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: Whereupor[ said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 11th day of June 2002.
