June 6, 2002 <br /> <br />City of Ramsey <br />Heidi Nelson, Assistant City Administrator <br />15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW' <br />Ramsey, MN 55303 <br /> <br />Dear Ms. Nelson, <br /> <br />As you are well aware, I have been on a medical leave of absence related to the birth of <br />my son, Peter, since February 21, 2002. I have appreciated the City's understanding in <br />allowing me this time to be with my son and make a decision of how to best balance my <br />career and his health. After careful consideration, I have decided that I need to step away <br />from my position as a Human Resources Manager for the City of Ramsey at this time. <br /> <br />This has been a difficult decision for me; I have enjoyed working with the staff at the <br />City of Ramsey and have enjoyed the challenges of the Human Resources position. As <br />discussed in our telephone conversation, I will be happy to come in for a few hours in the <br />interim to help the City with the transition.
