Based on phone conversations with you and as
noted in the grading plan, ',t is our understanding' that it is your desire to connect the storm water
drainage pond for the site with the existing pond adjacent to the. site in the City of Elk River.
The City of Elk River will al!ow this based on the following:

· The pond be designed to the City of Elk River or City of Ramsey standards, whichever
are more stringent.
· The existing pond has be,eh constructed to meet the treatment and discharge
requirements for the current drainage area only. The pond would need to be expanded
to meet [he dead and live storage requirements for the additional Ip, dustrial Park area.
· Outlet and overflow modifications may be necessary for the existing pond. These would
be the responsibility of: the Developer.
· The City of Elk River would need [o approve design calculations and the final grading
plan.
· The City of Elk River reserves the right to inspect 't~he expanded pond to ensure that
construction and restoration is in accordance with City's Standards.

If you have any questions please call.

Sincerely,

Howard R.
