-2'10- Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION # RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH E & V CONSTRUCTION MANAGERS AND BKV GROUP FOR REMODELING OF CITY HALL AND AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE REMODEL OF CITY HALL. WHEREAS, City Council has been considering space needs at City Hall for several years; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has retained the services ore & V Construction Managers and BKV Group to assess current and future space needs at City Hall; and WHEREAS, an interim remodeling project is necessary to accommodate immediate space needs at City Hall prior to the consideration of expansion of existing City Hall or construction of a new City Hail; and WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed several interim-remodeling plans, including the review of two specific plans at their March 19th, 2002 work session; and WHEREAS, Council majority, at their March 19th, 2002 work session, recommended moving tbrward with Plan B. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) 2) That the City Council of the City ofRamsey attthorizes the City Administrator to enter into a contract with E & V Construction Managers and BKV Group for remodeling of City Hall with a project budget of $216,068. That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the preparation of Plans and Specifications for the remodeling of City Hall. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resoh.ttion was duly seconded by Councih'nember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the fbllowing were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Cotmcil this the 26~l' day of March 2002.
