-234- <br /> <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolntion and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HIRING OF MEGAN WALD TO <br /> FULL-TIME ASSOCIATE PLAxNNER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Council gave authorization to create an Associate Plmmer <br />position in the 2002 budget and authorized staff to prodeed with a recruitment process for <br />this position; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Associate Planner position was posted internally and one letter <br />of interest was received from Megan Wald; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Wald was interviewed by the Community Development <br />Director, Principal Plarmer, and the Assistant City Administrator on March 6, 2002, and <br />was recommended to the Per-smmel Committee to fill the full-time Associate Planner <br />position. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Rarnsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Cormnittee to hire Megan Wald for the full-time Associate Planner <br />position. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That Ms. Wald will be compensated at a rate of $41,095 with two weeks of <br />vacation and be required to complete a six-month probationmy period.
