-84- NOTICE OF ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA CITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #0420 ELMCREST PARK SOCCER FIELD GRADING TO WHOM iT MAY CONCERN The Council of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota, will receive bids at the office of the City Administrator until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday March 12, 2002, at the Ramsey City Hall for making the following described local improvements, consisting primarily of the following estimated quantities: 45,000 CY 1000 CY 1/4 acre Earthwork and rough and fine grading Provide and place CL 5 aggregate road Clear and grub trees/brush and other necessary appurtenances. It should be noted that all grading shall be completed by May 1, 2002 without exception in preparation for seeding and irrigation installation Copies of the plans and specifications may be seen no earlier than 5:00 p.m. Friday, Mat'ch 1st 2002 at the office of the City Parks and Utilities Supervisor, Ramsey City Hall, Builders Exchange, and at the office of the Landscape Architect, URS Corporation, 700 Third Street South, Minneapolis, MN 55415. Copies of the plans and specifications will be furnished upon request for a non-refundable fee of $25.00 sent to the office of the Landscape Architect at URS Corporation or Ramsey City Hall. Each bidder shall file with his bid an acceptable certified check or bid bond in an amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount of the bid. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the bids are opened. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the bid deemed in the best interest of the City. Bids will be opened and tabulated at Ramsey City Hall, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. NW, Ramsey, MN at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 12, 2002. James E.
