Presentation <br /> <br />Community Development Assistant Wald noted that J.R. Land and Cattle Company has <br />submitted an application for a comprehensive plan amendment to change the land use <br />designation for property located off of Alpine Drive on the border of Elk River and Ramsey. The <br />Applicant is requesting a land use designation change from Places to Shop to Places to Work. <br />The comprehensive plan amendment, coupled with their rezoning request, allow the <br />applicant to develop the property with Industrial uses. <br /> <br />Staff recommends approval of the request. The subject area app, good fit for <br />Industrial type of businesses. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt questioned if J.R.
