PC CASE <br /> <br />CONSIDER ENDING PROBATIONARY PERIOD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />SECRETARY <br /> Rhonda Heryla, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mary Jo Warner assumed the position of Public Works Secretary on August 6, 2001 and <br />her six-month probationary period date was February 6, 2002. A written performance <br />appraisal has been prepared indicating satisfactory performance for Ms. Warner. A <br />meeting was held between Ms. Warner and her supervisor, Dean Kapler, to review the <br />written performance appraisal. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />Based on the satisfactory six-month appraisal, staff recommends that Public Works <br />Secretary Mary Jo Warner be retained as a regular full-time employee effective February <br />6, 2002. <br /> <br />Committee Action: <br /> <br />Motion to adopt resolution ending probationary period for Public Works Secretary Mary <br />Jo Warner and granting her the status of regular full-time employee effective February 6, <br />2002. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />City Administrator <br />Director of Public Works <br /> <br />Copies also distributed to: <br />Personnel File <br /> <br />PC: 2/12/02 <br /> <br />-341- <br /> <br /> <br />
