Councilmember Anderson questioned the width of the private drives, what is the width. Mr. Leper replied 24 feet. Councilmember Anderson inquired if any street parking will be allowed. Mr. Leper replied no, except at the end of every drive there will be three stalls. Councilmember Anderson questioned the length of the driveways. Mr. Leper replied that they are proposing 23 to 25 feet. Councilmember Zimmerman inquired if the City street will connect to the Lord of Life site. Community Development Assistant Wald replied yes. Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Kapler noted that the only issue with private streets is that the City of Ramsey is not geared to take care of the streets and do not intend to ever maintain the private streets. Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to adopt the Findings of Fact # __ relating to a request to rezone the subject property from B-1 Business to R-3 Urban Residential adding a finding to state "That the proposed rezoning and development of the property will require a Comprehensive Plan amendment to expand the MUSA boundary to include the subject property." Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, HendrikSen, Anderson, and Zimmerman.. Voting No: None. Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to introduce Ordinance #01-12- to rezone the subject property from B-1 Business to R-3 Urban Residential based on the Findings of Facts. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Zimmerman, Anderson, and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. Councilmember Hendriksen noted that the City has changed more property from business to residential and they need to remember that in other areas of the City.
