Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-01- <br /> <br />A. RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FOR AN INTERIM USE PERMIT FOR THE PLACEMENT OF A <br />TEMPORARY OFFICE STRUCTURE AND TO ALLOW FOR OUTDOOR STORAGE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Kenko, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied to <br />the City of Ramsey (the "City") for an interim use permit for the placement of a temporary office <br />structure and for outdoor storage on the property generally located at the northeast corner of <br />147th Ave. and Ferret St. and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 2, Block 1 and Lot 3, Block 1 Hwy 10 Ramsey 4t~ Addition, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TItE CITY. COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MI2NNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public heating <br />pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on November 5, 2001, and that the <br />public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public heating are <br />hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the Applicant owns property located at the northeast corner of 147th Ave. and Ferret <br />St. <br /> <br />That the Subject Property is zoned Industrial and the surrounding parcels are zoned <br />Industrial. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That on October 16, 2001, the Applicant submitted a request for an interim use permit for <br />permission to erect a temporary office building and to allow for outdoor storage. <br /> <br />5) <br /> <br />That the Applicant is proposing to place a 8' x 32' temporary office structure, also known <br />as a mobile home/office structure. <br /> <br />6) <br /> <br />That the Applicant is proposing to construct a 6' high chain fence around the' outdoor <br />storage area. <br /> <br />7) That the Applicant is proposing to surface the storage area with Class 5. <br /> <br />8) That the Applicant is requesting that the interim use permit be effective for five years. <br /> <br />9) <br /> <br />That the City Council adopted an ordinance on June 26, 2001, placing the Applicant's <br />property within the boundaries of a 24-month development moratorium. <br /> <br />10) <br /> <br />That the Kamsey Economic Development Authority, at their October 8, 2001 meeting <br />directed City Staffto continue to work with the Applicant to locate at an alternative site. <br /> <br />-221- <br /> <br /> <br />
