-224- Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #02-01- A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO A REQUEST FOR AN INTERIM USE PERMIT FOR THE PLACEMENT OF A TEMPORARY OFFICE STRUCTURE AND TO ALLOW FOR OUTDOOR STORAGE. WHEREAS, Kenko, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied to the City of Ramsey (the "City") for an interim use permit for the placement of a temporary office structure and for outdoor storage on the property generally located at the northeast corner of 147th Ave. and Ferret St. and legally described as follows: Lot 2, Block 1 and Lot 3, Block 1 Hwy 10 Ramsey 4~ Addition, Anoka County, ~Minnesota. (the "Subject Property") NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIl, OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on November 5, 2001, and that the public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. 2) That the Applicant owns property located at the northeast corner of 147th Ave. and Ferret St. 3) That the Subject Property is zoned Industrial and the surrounding parcels are zoned Industrial. 4) That on October 16, 2001, the Applicant submitted a request for an interim use permit for permission to erect a temporary 'office building and to-allow for outdoor storage. 5) That the Applicant is proposing to place a 8' x .32' temporary office structure, also known as a mobile home/office structure. 6) That the Applicant is proposing to construct a 6' high chain fence around the outdoor storage area. 7) That the Applicant is proposing to surface the storage area with Class 5. 8) That the Applicant is requesting that the interim use permit be effective for five years. 9) That the City Council adopted an ordinance on June 26, 2001, placing the Applicant's property within the boundaries of a 24-month development moratorium. 10) That the Ramsey Economic Development Authority, at their October 8, 2001 meeting directed City Staff to continue to work with the Applicant to locate at an alternative site.
