Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to ratify the recommendations of the Finance Committee for Cases 2 through 4. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Oamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Kurak, Anderson, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Case #12: Report from Personnel Committee The Personnel Committee met on December 18, 2001 to discuss the following cases: 1) Authorize Hiring of:Autb~Mechanic The Personnel .Committee ~ecommended that the City Council authorize the hiring of Brian Ihnot f6~She Auto Mechanic with a salary consistent with the union contrac~:~d two vacation and serving a six-month probationary period. 2) Authorize Hiring ,¢~ The Personnel Committee Schiferli for the position of 2001 with a salary a six month probationary perio{ Motion by Councilmember Anderson, recommendations of the Personnel Motion carried. Case #13: Elmcrest Park Direction Officer - the City Council authorize the hiring of Cary Service Officer effective January 1, and two weeks vacation and serving Kurak, erson, to ratify the Kurak, Hendriksen, Councilmember Hendriksen expressed concern that the project is not proceeding and inquired as to what direction staff needed to get the project moving forward. Councilmember Anderson stated that when the Council disCUssed the issue last they wanted to make sure that things were done in an orderly fashion, which is why they requested that the access issue along T.H. #47 be resolved before proceeding with the project.
