Medium Density Residential. Councilmember Kurak stated that she agreed with changing the land use from Industrial to Medium Density Residential. Councilmember Hendriksen disagreed with changing the land use to Medium Density Residential. Mayor Gamec agreed with changing the land use to Medium Density Residential· Councilmember Zimmerman disagreed with changing the land use to Medium Density Residential. Mayor Gamec requested that notification be sent to the adjacent property owners prior to the January 24, 2002 public hearing. The property spoke out in the aUdience that he was opposed to the land use change. Councilmember Hendriksen inquired if the Council was going to agree to change a land use when the property owner is opposed. Councilmember Anderson agreed with changing the land use to Medium Density Residential. Majority consensus was to change the land use for the Bright Keys project from Industrial to Medium Density Residential. That request was denied, but the Council had discussed changing the land use to Low Density Residential. Councilmember Kurak stated that during the preliminary plat discussion neighboring residents stated that they were not opposed to single family residential on the property and for that reason she would agree with the changing the land use to Low Density Residential.
