Mr. Lepper noted that they could minimize the concerns of the Fire Chief regarding the sharp angle by widening the mouth of the intersection. Councilmember Hendriksen inquired if the street pavement is 24 feet wide. Community Development Assistant Wald replied that the width is 24 feet curb to curb. Councilmember Hendriksen inquired as to what the City's street requirement is. City Engineer Jankowski replied 30 feet. Councilmember Hendriksen questioned why all streets should not be required to be 30 feet wide. Mr. Lepper replied that if ~fCi~i~!is willing to maintain the streets then they will construct them to 30 feet ~,::.~/ ,~¢ .
