Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its ,adoption: <br /> <br />-136- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />RESOLUTON APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ADVERTISEMENT <br />FOR BID ON DEMOLITION OF CONCRETE BUILDING ON FORMER L. W. <br />MAKENS PROPERTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Plans and specifications for the demolition have been completed by <br />Hakanson and Anderson; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Braun Intertec has performed an asbestos hazardous abatement survey; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, cost of said improvement is estimated as less than $100,000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, State Law requires at least 10 days published notice; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the current building is in direct conflict with the construction of proposed <br />141 st Avenue NW; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the current building is in direct conflict with the proposed extension of City <br />Utilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has insured that utilities will be available to T & G <br />Land, Inc. by July 1, 2001 pursuant to Development Ageement between T & G, Land, <br />Inc. and the City of Ramsey; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF <br />RA~ISEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />I) That such contract documents and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto, and <br /> made part of are hereby approved. <br /> <br />2) That such publishing of the advertisement for bid for this project is hereby approved. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> <br />
