-304- PROPOSED ORDINANCE #01-__ CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING AND SUBDMSION OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. 'AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9.50.30 "SUBDIVISION DESIGN STANDARDS" OF CHAPTER 9 OF THE CITY CODE O~' RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. The City of Ramsey ordains: SECTION 1. AMENDMENT Section 9.50.30 (Subdivision Design Standards), Subdivision 7 (Park and Open Space Dedication) shall be amended to include the following text: n. Application to No Subdivision. A developer of a commercial, industrial or residential development for which no subdivision of property is re.quired shall comply with the park dedication and trail development fee requirements of this Chapter as if a subdivision were required prior t.o receiving any building permit. SECTION 2. SUMMARY The following official summary of Ordinance #00-__ has been approved by the City Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance. It is the intent and effect of Ordinance #00-__ to amend Ramsey City Code Chapter 9 (Zoning and Subdivision of Land) to require park. dedication consideration when no subdivision of land is required in conjunction with a proposed commercial or residential development. SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE The effective date of this ordinance is thirty (30) days after its passage and publication, subject to City Charter Section 5.07. Adopted by the Ramsey City Council the day of ,2000.
