GRANTEE shall make periodical reports to the STATE about the results of local enforcement activities prior to the end of the grant period (See XIX Other Provision). These reports hall include project implementation, compliance check results, follow-up enforcement activities, sanctions implemented, and a description of other local community enforcement activities. GRANTEE shall be in contact with a STATE-Authorized Representative a minimum of two (2) times during the grant cycle and shall provide written activity reports in a manner as required by STATE. GRANTEE shall participate in all meetings, conference calls, and trainin.g sessions provided by STATE or STATE-Authorized Representative pertaining to these duties, including evaluation. GRANTEE shall receive approval from STATE-Authorized Representative before any paid advertising or marketing is initiated by GRANTEE. Youth shall b'e_inx;olved in developing and implementing activities'in this contract. CONSIDERATION AND TERMS OF PAYMENT Consideration for all services performed by GRANTEE pursuant to this grant agreement shaH be paid by the STATE as follows: Compensation: forty-five thousand, five hundred and forty-five dollars and ten cents dollars ($45,545.10). Reimbursement for travel and subsistence expenses actually and necessarily incurred by GRANTEE in performance of this grant agreement in an amount not to exceed six hundred and thirty-six dollars ($636.00); provided, that GRANTEE shall be reimbursed for travel and subsistence expensies in the same manner and in no greater amount than provided in the current "Commissioner's Plan" promulgated by the Commissioner of Employee Relations. GRANTEE shall not be reimbt'~rsed for travel and subsistence expense incurred outside the State of Minnesota unless it has received prior written approval for such out of state travel from the STATE. The total obligation of the STATE for all compensation and reimbursements to GRANTEE shall not exceed forty-five thousand, five hundred and forty-five dollars and- ten cents dollars ($45,545.10). Terms of Payment Payments shall be made by the STATE promptly after GRANTEE'S presentation of invoices for services performed and acceptance of such services by the STATE'S Authorized Representative pursuant to Clause VI. Invoices shall be submitted in a form prescribed by the STATE and according to the following schedule: May 15, 2001, and August 15, 2001. CONDITIONS OF PAYMENT All services provided by GRANTEE pursuant to this grant agreement shall be performed to the satisfaction of the STATE, as determined at the sole discretion of its Authorized Representative, and in acco'rd with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations. GRANTEE shall not receive payment for work found by the STATE to be unsatisfactory, or performed in violation of federal, state or local law, ordinance, rule o,' regulation. TERMS OF AGREEMENT This grant agreement shall be effective on January 2, 2000, or upon the date that the final required signature is obtained by the STATE, pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 16C.05, Subd. 2, whichever occurs later, and shall remain in effect until June 30, 200[, or until all obligations set forth in this grant agreement have been satisfactorily fulfilled, whichever occurs first. GRANTEE understands that NO work should begin under this grant agreement until ALL required signatures have been obtained, and GRANTEE is notified to begin work by the STATE's Authorized Representative.
