-186- <br /> <br />PROPOSED ORDINANCE #01- <br /> <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 OF THE CITY CODE, WHICH CHAPTER IS <br />KNOWN AS THE ZONING AND SUBDMSION OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE CITY <br />CODE. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9.15 (TOWERS) OF THE CITY CODE OF <br />RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. AMENDMENT <br /> <br />Subsection 9.15.08 (b) and (c), Tower Setbacks, is amended to include the following language: <br /> <br />In Business and Industrial Zoning Districts, towers shall meet the setbacks <br />of the underlying zoning district with the exception of industrial zoning <br />districts, where towers may encroach into the side or rear setback area, <br />provided that the side or rear property line abuts another non-residential <br />zoned property and the tower does not encroach upon any easements. <br /> <br />Towers constructed within Residential Zoning Districts shall maintain a <br />minimum setback equal to 1.5 times the height of the tower from any lot <br />line. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. ORDINANCE SUMMARY FOR PUBLICATION <br /> <br />The following is the official summary of Ordinance #01 , which has been approved by the City <br />Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the <br />ordinance: <br /> <br />Section 9.15.08, Tower Setbacks, has been modified to clarify required setbacks for commercial <br />towers located in Business and Industrial Zoning Districts and require that commercial towers be <br />setback 1.5 times the height of the tower from any tot line in residential districts. <br /> <br />SECTION 3.
