The <br />following is a description of the transitioning techniques that shall be used to create a reasonable <br />transition between existing housing developments of differing densities when required. <br /> <br />1. Landscape Buffering. <br /> <br />Landscape buffering is a technique used to buffer existing single family residential developments <br />from proposed residential developments through the use ofberms and plantings. <br /> <br />a. Determination of Buffering Attainment Level <br /> <br />Proposed Urban Development adjacent to Existing Urban Development. This <br />section applies to proposed urban residential developments that are adjacent to an <br />existing urban residential development. Matching the proposed development to <br />the adjacent existing development in the following chart determines the level of <br />buffering or "Attainment" required. The numeric attainment level is matched to <br />the level found in the chart in Subsection 2 below. <br /> <br />Transition Attainment Level <br /> <br /> EXisting Adjacent Urban Use <br /> Vacant R- 1U <br />K- 1U NA NA <br />R~2U NA Level 1 <br />R-3U and MR NA Level 2 <br /> ' <br /> As' determined necessary <br />PUD .
