5. Lot Size Tiering. <br /> <br />Lot size tiering is a technique used to buffer proposed residential developments from adjacent <br />residential uses. Tiering means a row or group of lots. The first tier begins at the perimeter of the <br />site and the second tier interior of the first on the site. Upon satisfaction of the 1s~ and 2nd tiering <br />provisions, the respective minimum lot size can be applied to the remainder of the development. <br /> <br />ItY Transition Tiers Corresponding Lot Size <br />II1~ Tier Lot size is to match the adjacent lots <br /> but in no case shall a lot be required <br /> to exceed 1 acre in size <br />~'2"a Tier 50% of ~-~ Tier lot size <br /> <br />(1) Buffer Alternative. A buffer of 300 feet can substitute for 1st and 2nd tiering <br /> provisions. <br /> <br />Tiered <br /> <br />6.
