In summary, the policy includes language regarding computer training and allows <br />for reimbursement of non-job related training if agreed upon by both the Department Head and <br />Human Resources Manager, and if the training will benefit the employee as he/she looks to <br />future opportunities. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff is recommending the adoption'of the amended Training and Education Policy as stated on <br />the following page. <br /> <br />Committee Action: <br /> <br />Recommend that' the City Council adopt the amended Training and Education Policy as stated on <br />the following page. <br /> <br />Reviewed By: <br />City Administrator <br />Assistant City Administrator <br /> <br />PC: 2/13/0.1 <br /> <br />-277- <br /> <br /> <br />
