The PSAs attend the dance to ensure everyone has a fun <br />and safe time. <br /> <br />While she is there, Johnson will join other members of the PSA in watching <br />over teens as they dance and have fun. They make sure some of that fun does <br />not turn dangerous or violent. <br /> <br />During her time there, the only incident that repeatedly occurs is groups of <br />teens trying to throw their friends into the opposite sex's bathroom. <br /> <br />Although Johnson will be there for only a portion of the event, she makes <br />good use of the time. <br /> <br />In the cafeteria, she visits variOus tables, joking with the teen-agers who tease <br />her back. In the hallways, Johnson stops and chats with the other PSAs and <br />students. <br /> <br />At 9:15 p.m. It's time for Johnson to begin her patrol again. This time with <br />partner Jason Waldowski. It will be another 45 minutes before she has <br />anything to write in her log. <br /> <br />At 10 p.m. all of the city's parks close for the evening. <br /> <br />10:05 p.m. The unit swings into Central Park and spots some hockey players <br />still at it. Johnson approaches a group of six players and informs them the park <br />has closed and it is time to leave. <br /> <br />After touting the rest of the park, the unit returns to the rink. The hockey <br />players have left the park. <br /> <br />10:30 p.m. The unit comes across a parked vehicle in River's Bend Park. <br />There is a couple in the back seat. The woman is tending to the man, who has <br />passed out. Johnson is unable to wake him and a full-time officer is called. <br /> <br />Officer Bradley Paplham arrives on scene to assist. He is able to wake the man <br />and gives him a citation for underage consumption. <br /> <br />11:04 p.m. Next stop is Wayside Park, In the back of the park, they find a <br />parked vehicle with a sleeping man inside. <br /> <br />After rousting the man and checking for any warrants on him or if the car is <br />stolen, the.y send him on his way. <br /> <br />11:20 p.m. The team does a routine check on the building doors in the <br />business park and finds an open back door. <br /> <br />Johnson calls in an assist from a full-time officer. Three officers, Greg <br />Sullivan, Tim Frankfurth, and Gary Voit, respond and conduct a building <br />search. Nothing was found and the building is secured. <br /> <br />11:50 p.m. Johnson's unit returns to River's Bend Park and finds a car with a <br />juvenile couple, who are "just talking."
