-254- Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #Oi-02-XXX RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING $5,000 FROM THE COUNCIL CONTINGENCY FUND TO THE BUDGET MAYOR AND COUNCIL TO FUND THE YOUTH FIRST PROGRAM. WHEREAS, during the year 2001, the Ramsey City Council acted on matters impacting expenditures budgets of the City's General Fund for items that were not included in the original budget for the year ended December 3 i, 2001; WHEREAS, included in the 2001 General Fund budget was $101,745 under the COuncil Contingency, or Expenditure Reserve Fund to be used for items that were not included in the various departments budgeted line items; and WHEREAS, $59,412; and of February 27, 200I, the Council Contingency Fund had a balance of WHEREAS, the City will annually contribute $5,000 for the Youth First Program, beginning with Year 2001. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. That $5,000 will be transferred from the Council Contingency Fund to the budget of Mayor and Council for the funding of the Youth First Program. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 27th day of February, 2001.
