I YOUTH FIRST <br /> <br />I February 1, 2001 <br /> <br />Mayor Tom Gamec <br />Ramsey City Hall <br />Ramsey, MN 55303 <br /> <br />Dear Mayor Gamec and members of the Ramsey City Council: <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />On November 28, 2000, several members of Youth First of Andover, Anoka, and <br />Ramsey appeared before your city council to request $5000 to support the ever expanding <br />efforts of our organization. At that time, the request was directed to your budget <br />committee for a final decision, and we were hopeful that a decision has been made. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Youth First has received $5000 from the cities of Anoka and Andover and $10,000 from <br />Anoka County. In the nearly 8 years of existence, we have asked the cities only one time <br />for financial support, as we depend on grants, fund raisers, and in-kind donations to <br />support our efforts. <br /> <br />Thank you for hosting our eighth annual Mayors' Prayer Breakfast on March 22, 2001. <br />Having a site like the new facilities at Lord of Life Church is exciting!
