Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION # 01-03 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECT 01-18, BUILDING DEMOLITION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on March 13, 2001, City Council adopted Resolution #01-03-XXX approving the plans <br />and specifications for the above referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Improvement Project 01-18, bids were <br />received, opened and tabulated according to law on March 26, 2001; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the following bids were received; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with <br /> in the name of the City of Ramsey for the construction of <br />Improvement Project # 01-18 in the amount of <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />The City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made <br />with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be <br />retained until a contract has been signed. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />And the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />And the following abstained: <br /> <br />And the following were absent: <br /> <br />-t 38- <br /> <br /> <br />
