-256- <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #01-04-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #00-35, 141sT AVENUE N.W./EBONY STREET N.W. <br />STREET & UTILITY CONSTRUCTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on March 27, 2001, City Council adopted Resolution #01-03-164A <br />approving the plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Improvement Project #00-35, <br />bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the following is a summary of the lowest quotes that were received: <br /> <br />Bidder <br /> <br />Amount of Bid <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAIVISEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with in the name of the City of Ramsey for the construction of <br />Improvement Project #00-35 in the amount of $ <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders <br />the deposits made With their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the <br />next to lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br /> <br />The motion for 'the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , and upon vote .being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I' <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
