I I I I I I I I I I I I I I JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT FOR REVISIONS TO THE ANOKA COUNTY CSAH 116/CR 116 CORRIDOR STUDY This agreement is made and entered into this __ day of June, 2001, by and between the County of Anoka, a political subdivision of the State of Minnesota, 2100 Third Avenue, Anoka, Minnesota 55303, hereinafter referred to as the "County", the City of Ramsey, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard Northwest, Ramsey, Minnesota 55303, hereinafter referred to as "Ramsey", and the City of Anoka, 2015 First Avenue North, Anoka, Minnesota 55303, hereinafter referred to as "Anoka". WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, the parties to this Agreement desire to jointly cause a Corridor Study for a portion of County State Aid Highway 116 and County Road 116 in the Cities of Ramsey and Anoka; and, WHEREAS, the parties agree that it is in their best interest that the cost of said project be shared; and, WHEREAS, said work will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Minn. Stat. §471.59 NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually stipulated and agreed: I. PURPOSE: The County, Ramsey and Anoka have joined together for the purpose of causing a Corridor Study for that part of County State Aid Highway 116 and County Road 116 in the Cities of Ramsey and Anoka. See Exhibit A RFP. II. METHOD: Ramsey shall coordinate the consultant agreement for said Corridor Study. The County and Anoka shall each have a representative on the consultant selection team and shall submit a written concurrence upon selection of a consultant. IH. COSTS: Ao The contract cost of the work shall constitute the actual costs and shall be so referred to herein. "Estimated costs" are good faith projections of the costs, which will be incurred for this project. The estimated cost is $50,000. B. Ramsey shall pay 35% of the actual costs. -211-
