Slat. § 16A.15 ~_.-_L.--~~ ~is ~¢,ntrac[ is between the Slale o1' Minnesot3. acling through iLs Oornmissloner of Transportation. and .Conlractor as follows: Iwhereas' Iwhereas' I Whereas: Iwhereas: Lhereas: I Whereas: This Contract provides, among other things, for construction of storm sewer, signal systems, grading, aggregate base, and surfacing of T.H. 47, CSAH 5, and Sunwood Drive in Ra-n. sey, and The elevation of T.H. 47 was raised as to render the inplace earth, berm ineffective as a noise deflector for City of Ramsey residents, and Landscaping will be put in place along T.H. 47 orr and aroUnd the inplace earth berm, and It has been determined that a six (6) foot screen/ng wall is needed to deflect noise for the City of Ramsey residents negatively affected by the reconstruction of T.H. 47, and The construction of the screening wall is necessary at this time, before landscaping, so that newly planted shrubs and trees will not need to be disturbed and the screening wall will need landscaping in place around the structure, and Furthermore, the City of Ramsey has issued plan additions to the Contract for additional grading work and construction of a screening wall parallel rD T.H. 47 from Sra. 13 +452 to Sta, 14+235.3, Sra. 14+545 to Sra. 14+ 629, Sra. 14+665 to Sra. 14+723, and Sra. 14+716 to Sm. 14+810 for approximately 2031.7 square meters of' screening wall. rOW, I I I THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY MUTUALLY AGREED AND UNDERSTOOD THAT: 1) The Contractor is hereby directed to modify the construction of fi:ds Contract in accordance with the additional plan sheets numbered 1 through 14 for a T.H. 47 screening fence. 2) Price of screening fence is per square meter including posts. 3) By signing this Agreement the Contractor acknowledges receipt of the plan sheet.s, which are hereby incorporated into the Contract by reference. Payment for these additions will be paid as shown in the Estimate of Cost. -z3 4)
