This Facility Option <br /> anticipates that the size of the addition would be 16,700 square feet and up to 10,000 square feet of <br /> renovations to the existing City Hall. The existing Police Facility is not part of the project other <br /> than a connection to the new City Hall addition. <br /> <br /> We understand that the total project budget is approximately $5,000,000 and that the project's <br /> constru.c, tion would be achieved by multiple prime contractors bid at one time and coordinated by <br /> the City s Construction Manager according to the schedule outlined in the Request for Proposals <br /> dated 4/10/2001. <br /> <br /> The standard AIA B 141/CMa form of agreement between Owner and Architect will be used as the <br /> basic agreement. Compensation would be equitably adjusted based on the final scope and size of <br /> project and the services requested. ,~1~...~ ~ <br /> <br /> Our compensation would be a lump sum fee of~ plus reimbursable <br /> expenses based on a building Construction Cost of approximately $3,500,000 <br /> (Option A construction costs of $3,102,000 escalated from 1999 to 2002). This fee <br /> is negotiable. <br /> <br /> However, one of the first tasks we would undertake, if selected to serve the City of Ramsey, <br /> would be to do personnel projections and space needs projections, out 10 years and 20 years, <br /> based on input from staff, and demographics. We would then prepare masterplan alternatives to <br /> demonstrate how the city s facilities could grow to achieve your ultimate goals.
