The Minnesota <br />Department of Natural Resources, Lower Rum River Watershed <br /> <br />Management Organization, Board of Water and Soil Resources, US Army <br /> <br />Corpses of En~oineers and the Anoka Conservation District should be <br /> <br />contacted as well. <br /> <br />Subsections 9.11.18(4) Definitions and 9.11.18(5) Administration are amended to replace all <br />references to "conditional use permit" with the term "interim use permit". <br /> <br />Subsection 9.50.03(2)(c)(7) Prelim/nary Plat - Design Features is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Proposed method of disposing of surface, water drainage and method of conveying surface <br />water drainage within and beyond the limits of the plat to publiCly owned or controlled <br />drainage facilities or storm sewers. There shall be no grades less than 1%. When grades <br />are less than 2%, a certificate of grading will be required prior to occupancy. The <br />certificate of grading shall provide a statement fi'om a registered land surveyor stating <br />that they have surveyed the lot and determined that it contains no grade flatter than 1% <br /> <br />and conforms to the approved grading plan. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. ORDINANCE SUMMARY FOR PUBLICATION <br /> <br />The fbllowing is the official summary of Ordinance #01- . , which has been approved by the City <br />Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the <br />ordinance <br /> <br />Section 8.01.03c has been amended to require an elevation survey at the time of a footing and <br />foundation inspection for new construction. This requirement may be waived at the discretion of the <br />City Engineer it is determined that the elevation survey is not need to ensure the compatibility of the <br />grade of the lot with the overall area. <br /> <br />Section 9.11.01(13) had been amended to prohibit a property owner from modifying the grade of <br />existing lots that have an approved grading plan except after revieW .and approval by the City <br />Engineer. <br /> <br />Section 9.
