Utilities: The development w/Il be served by municipal water and samtary sewer and the utilities <br /> have adequate capacity to service the demands of these units, <br /> <br />15. <br /> <br />Architectural Standards: The exteriors of the structure is proposed to consist of vinyl siding, <br />block and brick. The roof will have asphalt shingles. The apartment building will consist of three <br />stories. The proposed height of the apartment building exceeds the 35 foot max/mum height for <br />structures allowed under City Code. The applicant is applying for a variance to exceed the <br />maximum height concurrently with the site plan review process. The first story will contain 28 <br />apartments and the second and third stories will contain 27 apartment each. The building will have <br />28 one-bedroom and 54 two-bedroom units. The one bedroom units will be 760 square feet and <br />the two bedroom units will be 1053 square feet which meets City Ordinances. A color rendering of <br />the elevations is required at the time of the Planning Commission meeting. <br /> <br />16. Laund~ Facilities: Each apmiment is shown to have a designated laundry area for a washer and <br /> dryer. <br /> <br />17. <br /> <br />Sidewalk: The City Council recently adopted an ordinance to require a five foot sidewalk on at <br />least one side of each through street in all urban subdivisions. A sidewalk is proposed along the <br />west side of Dysprosium St. NW. <br /> <br />18. Variance Request: As you know, the Board of Adjustment denied your request for a variance <br /> from the height restriction for the ap~utment building. Subsequently, the Planning Commission <br /> denied the apartment building site plan based on the Board of Adjustment decision. The City' <br /> Council will be b_eadng your appeal of the Board of Adjustment decision on June 26, 2001. <br /> <br />The City Council will be meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2001, at the Ramsey Fire Station <br />1I, 15050 Armstrong Blvd., NW, to review your proposed site plan. I suggest that you, or your <br />representative, be present at the meeting to answer any questions that may arise.
