-406- Action: Motion to ratify the recommendation of the Committee. Case #5: Street Sweeping in Private Development The Committee recommended that staff be directed to draft an ordinance requiring semi-annual street sweeping of private streets and pavements which drain to either public waters or public drainage systems. Action: Motion to ratify the recommendation of the Committee. Case//6: Information on Street Maintenance Program. The Committee received a draft of an informational bulletin on the street maintenance. The Committee also directed that staff redraft the section of City ordinance regarding its policy on the financing of street maintenance for discussion at a future Public Works Committee. Action: Motion to ratify the recommendation of the Committee. Case #7: Consider petition to extend T.H.//47 Sound Wall The Cormnittee recommended that staff request in writing to MnDOT that it consider participating in the funding of an extension of the screening wall. The Committee also directed that this issue be placed on the July Public Works Committee meeting. Action: Motion to ratify the recommendation of the Committee.
