The benefit review analysis would consist of such things as a comparison of <br />current and alternative benefit plans and careers, key policy points and options to consider, and <br />suggestions of how to better manage rates. A representative from T.C. Field & Company <br />estimated the cost of this review at $1800. <br /> <br />After a benefit review analysis is performed, changes in carriers or benefit plans or both could be <br />implemented. T.C. Field is also available to assist with these changes and to act as a third party <br />administrator for an additional cost. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff is recommending authorization of a benefit review analysis with T.C. Field & Company for <br />an amount not to exceed $2000. Staff is further recommending the money for the analysis come <br />out of the administrative budget for MiScellaneous Professional Services. <br /> <br />Committee Action: <br /> <br />Recommend that the City Council authorize a benefit review analysis with T.C.
