-324- <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #01-08- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO A REQUEST <br />FROM M&G LEASING FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO EXCEED SIGN <br />SIZE RESTRICTIONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from M&O Leasing for a <br />conditional use permit to exceed the sign size restrictions on the property legally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />All that part of Lots 2 and 3, Auditor's Subdivision Number 34, according to the map <br />or plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the County Recorder in and for <br />Anoka County, Minnesota, lying Northwesterly of the following described line: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point in the Northeasterly line of State Highway No. 10 which point is <br />585 feet Northwesterly from the Southeasterly comer of said Lot 3, measured along <br />the Northeasterly line of said State Highway No. 10; thence Northeasterly to a point <br />in the southwest line of the right-of-way of the Great Northern Railway Company, <br />which point is 490 feet Northwesterly from the Northeast comer of said Lot 3, <br />measured along the Southwesterly line of said Railway fight-of-way, thence <br />Northwesterly along the Southwesterly. }ine of said Railway right-of-way, 495 feet to <br />the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence Southerly to a point in the <br />Northeasterly line of State Highway No. I0, which point is 400 feet from the point of <br />beginning, said line there terminating. <br /> <br />("Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOIC4 COUNTY, STATE OF MI~NNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />That M&G Leasing, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant," properly applied for a conditional <br />use permit to exceed the 100 square foot pemside sign size restriction by 80 square feet per <br />side. <br /> <br />That the Applicant appeared before the Ramsey .Pl~anning Commission for a public heating <br />pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the City Code on August 7, 2001, and that said public hearing <br />was properly advertised, and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated <br />as a part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />3. That the Subject Property is approximately 2.48 acres in size. <br /> <br />4.
