5. That Section 9.12.08, Subd. 1, of the Ramsey City Code states that there shall not be more <br /> than one ground sign and it shall not exceed 100 square feet for each exposed face. <br /> <br />6. That the Applicant is proposing a multi-tenant commercial building that will be <br /> approximately 7,800 square feet and will have a minimum of 5 tenants. <br /> <br />That the Applicant is proposing to erect a sign for their property that will exceed the size <br />restrictions by 80 square feet per side in order to provide adequate advertising space for all <br />tenants in the proposed multi-tenant building. <br /> <br />That a conditional use permit to exceed sign size restrictions by 80 square feet per side will <br />not grant the Applicant special privileges that are denied by the City Code to other properties <br />in the commercial area. <br /> <br />That the proposed increase in sign surface will be designed so as to be harmonious and <br />appropriate in appearance with the existing or intended character of the vicinity and will not <br />change the essential character of the area. <br /> <br />10. That the proposed increases in sign surface will not adversely impact traffic in the area. <br /> <br />I1. That the proposed increase in sign surface will not' be unduly dangerous or otherwise <br /> detrimental to persons residing or working in the vicinity of the use or to the public welfare. <br /> <br />12. That the proposed increase in sign surface will not substantially impair the use, enjoyment, or <br /> market value of any surrounding property. <br /> <br />13. That the proposed increase in sign surface will not be hazardous or disturbing to e,,dsting or <br /> future neighboring uses. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />That the proposed increase in sign surface will not create excessive additional requirements at <br />public cost for public facilities and services, and it will not be detrimental to the economic <br />welfare of the community. <br /> <br />15. <br /> <br />That the proposed increase in sign surface will not involve activities and uses that will be <br />detrimental to any persons, property, or the general welfare by reason of excessive production <br />of glare. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolut!o.n was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> ., and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #01-08- <br /> Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br />-325- <br /> <br /> <br />
