He noted <br />the study would be funded by the State. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson and seconded by Councilmember l-tendriksen t° enter into <br />a joint powers agreement for North Metro Highway #10 Corridor Coalition, subject to language <br />changes on Article 8. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Referring to the City Council agenda, Councilmember Hendriksen stated the <br />agreement ends on page 331 and asked if page 333 is part of the agreement. City Administrator <br />Norman responded page 333 is a suggested workplan and not part of the agreement. Mayor <br />Gamec directed the Council to review it for the next'meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, I~endriksen, Connolly, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Absent: None.. <br /> <br />Case #11: Proposed Ordinance to EstabliSh Maintenance Requirements for'Individual <br /> Sewage Disposal Systems (ISTS) <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted that staffhas requested that this matter be tabled. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson and seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen to table <br />discussion of the proposed ordinance to establish maintenance requirements for individual <br />sewage disposal systems. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Flendriksen, Connolly, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />Case #12A: Request for a Conditional Use Permit to Operate a Business in a Residential <br /> District: Case of Barrett's Woodworking <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik explained f~fi.t Lonny Menard resides at 8900 - 181st <br />Avenue. In about 1985, he constructed a 5,000 (50' X 100') square foot pole buildhag on a <br />vacant parcel he owns to the west.' Since that time, he has been using the building for <br />commercial purposes. Mr. Menard now wants to sell the property and the perspective buyer <br />wants to establish his woodworking business in the pole building. Mr. Menard and the potential <br />purchaser (Mr. Barrett) were advised that a Conditional Use Permit would be required to <br /> <br />City Council/May 23, 2000 <br />Page 23 of 36 <br /> <br />-385- <br /> <br /> <br />
