I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember moved for the adoption of the following resolution: RESOLUTION #01-08- A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO A REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO OPERATE A STEEL WAREHOUSE IN A RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT. WHEREAS, Scott and Patti Jarmoluk doing business as North Suburban Steel, Inc., hereinafter referred to as the "Applicants", have properly applied for a Conditional Use Permit to operate a warehouse in a residential district on the property generally known as 8900 181st Avenue and legally described as follows: That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 6, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota. That part of the Northeast Quarter of the "NOrtheast Quarter of Section 6, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, lying west of the West line of the East 930.00 feet, as measured at right angles, thereof. Containing 11.82 acres, more of tess. Subject to easements of .record. Subject to that part taken for County Road No. 64 over and across the North 33.00 feet thereof. (the "Subject Property"). NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on August 7, 2001, and that said public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. That the subject property is located in a R-1 Rural Residential District and is approximately eleven (11) acres in size. That the surrounding parcels are zoned R-1 Rural Residential, and Agricultural Residential in Bums Township on the north side of 18Ta Avenue NW. That in 1985 a building permit was issued to Mr. Menard for the construction of an accessory structure on the Subject Property, without benefit of a conditional use permit when there is no principal structure (dwelling) present on the property. That the current fee title owner, Mr. Lonny Menard, operated his business from the accessory structure on the Subject Property. -395-
