-458- Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION # RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR FULL-TIME PUBLIC WORKS LEAD PERSON WHEREAS, John Nelson was hired as a full-time Public Works Lead Person for the City of Ramsey and began work in this position on February 14, 2001, subject to a six-month probationary period; and WHEREAS, Jolm Nelson successfully completed his probationary period and his performance was documented by the Public Works Director and Parks/Utilities Supervisor; and WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its August 28, 2001, meeting agreed with the staff recommendation to end the probationary period for the full-time Public Works Lead Person, effective August 14, 2001. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for full-time Public Works Lead Person effective August 14, 2001. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared du!zpassed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 28th day of August 2001.
